DESCRIPTION:((( TICKETS ))) \nNear Dark Fest presents: \nPost-Punk Legends from Berlin\, Germany \nPINK TURNS BLUE \n  \n \nFormed in 1985\, they quickly put out their first LP\, If Two Worlds Kiss (1987) expressing a sound reminiscent of new wave with very dark undertones and use of synthesizers\, only to become one of the pioneers of the developing subgenre of first darkwave (Meta 1988) then cold wave (Eremite 1990\, Aerdt 1991). \nAfter many hits like “Michelle”\, “Walking on Both Sides”\, “Your Master Is Calling”\, “The First”\, “I Coldly Stare Out”\, “Touch the Skies”\, “Catholic Sunday”\, “Missing You”\, “If Two Worlds Kiss”\, “Moon” and “Seven Years”\, they split up in 1995. \nIn 2003\, they reformed to appear in a few festivals. Because of the success of the reunion\, they released a Best Of album called Re-Union\, in 2005 their studio album Phoenix and in 2017 “Ghost”. DESCRIPTION:Formed in 2015\, by life-long Bay Area local musicians\, Redtrade’s original sound is filled with mystery and authenticity. Their songs are inspired by the dark intensity of ’80s new wave rock mixed with the under- tones of current alternative music. Redtrade’s hybrid stylistic approach is created by four members with a unique yet united spirit. \n6 Speed Supernova is a four-piece San Francisco based rock band whose sound is infused with blues\, funk\, jazz\, rock\, EDM and alternative influences. Guitarist David Ballon hails from a 20 plus year career in the music scene playing with numerous acts including LA’s gypsy-rock group Madame Hooligan. David’s sister Marie Gutierrez\, who has fronted both cover and original local NorCal bands over the last decade\, sings lead for 6SS. Puerto Rico raised Joan Torres is a bassist/composer on the forefront of progressive jazz. Most notably\, a number of Joan’s original music with his All Is Fused project was recently nominated in the 16th Annual Independent Music Awards. Drummer Brittany Patterson is currently obtaining her degree in Jazz from San Francisco State University and has played with a number of local jazz and punk bands over the last few years. It is said that music in the soul can be heard by the universe. 6 Speed Supernova’s galactic compositions will expand your mind\, tug on your heart and throw you tumbling into the cosmos. \nBehrhart formed in San Francisco in 2017 and released their debut album “Feral Ghost” in 2018 featuring expressive tracks “The Forest” and “Black Halo” as well as the explosive “Flirting with the Devil”.
