DESCRIPTION:Overland\nA constant force at music venues and festivals through energetic bouts of electric aggression and emotion furiously flung without much care of consequence\, this four-piece alternative heavy rock band has built a solid following.Radiokeys\nSibling songwriters Stewart Patrick and Emily Helena Gude come together to form the band RADIOKEYS\, a musical entity that flirts with traditional sounds\, yet creates a unique\, jagged form of the blues and folk. They have grown from a two-piece to a four-piece band\, now including bay area musicians Allante Piazza on drums and Thomas Davis on bass.Dear County\nMark W. Lynn and Arrica Rose met when they were kids in punk bands\, then met again many moons later for the sake of love and country. Dear County began as just the two of them with some acoustic tunes\, but has now grown to include a full band line-up with Michael Smartt (drums) and Steve Boyd (bass\, backing vocals). \nNortherner\nThe group consists of the 3 remaining members of the Bay Area indie rock band\, Wave Array. DESCRIPTION:Bear Market Riot is the “Power-Folk” duo of Kirk Nordby and Nick Motil. Formed in 2014 on the Central Coast of California\, their energetic blend of sounds from folk to funk resonates with audiences of all ages. They are two heartfelt voices singing in harmony playing five instruments with their hands and feet\, telling tales of adventure\, equality\, and romance. With a driving beat and layers of melody\, Motil and Nordby create a sound greater than the sum of its parts. \nBear Market Riot won SLO New Times readers poll pick for “Best Band” the last two years in a row! In 2017 they were runner-up in the High Sierra Music Festival Band Competition. As the emcees of Whale Rock Music Festival and frequent radio guests\, they’ve earned a reputation as energetic hype-men. They’ve opened for the Brother’s Comatose\, Fruition\, The Lil’ Smokies\, Horseshoes and Hand Grenades\, Lukas Nelson\, and Nicki Bluhm\, among others. \nTheir first full-length album “Power-Folk Americana” is set for release with Spectra Records in 2019. He grew up in the train town of Niles\, CA\, in the east bay hills of the SF Bay with his three older brothers. His songs read like short stories\, full of heart\, humor\, and a keen eye for detail. Accomplished guitar work and seasoned vocals underscore the characters and places he comes across in his travels. He started his career in East Bay bars\, mixing in six-months busking the streets and subways of New York. Michael has since logged 25 years on the U.S. songwriter circuit\, playing some of the bigger music festivals around. He tours as a solo act in the US and parts of Europe\, and occasionally gets a band together as McNevin & The Spokes. He’s shared hall stages with Johnny Cash & The Carter Family\, Donovan\, Shawn Colvin\, Utah Phillips\, Christine Lavin\, Richie Havens\, Iris Dement\, Greg Brown\, The T Sisters\, California Honeydrops\, Ramblin’ Jack Elliott\, and many of others. He’s been a main-stager at Strawberry\, High Sierra\, Kerrville\, Redwood Ramble\, American River\, and Philly Folk Festivals. Winner of the Kerrville New-Folk award in Texas\, a “DYI Artist Of The Year” for Performing Songwriter Magazine\, 7-time winner of “Song Of The Year” for West Coast Songwriters. When he’s not on tour\, the shop serves as a creative hive for concerts\, swaps\, jams\, and songwriting workshops. He’s also an Etch A Sketch artist of some renown (not kidding) – he illustrates his lyrics on the little red toy\, dumfounding audiences. His drawings have hung proudly in galleries around the country\, the Baseball Hall Of Fame\, and on the Mudpuddle Shop walls\, waiting for an earthquake.
