On the first Friday of every month, The Uptown presents a FREE live music showcase that celebrates Bay Area artist and musicians. This 10-year-old event highlights bands who we believe deserve your attention.

Our March Free First Friday showcase features Oakland orchestral art-rock outfit Everyone Is Dirty, Oakland psych-rock band Helltones (album release show), San Francisco trash blues group Alvie & The Breakfast Pigs, and melodic Bay Area alt-rockers Credit Electric.
