Hiero Nights returns with a its second rendition of a hip hop filled evening.

Friday, May 18th – come out to see Young Gully rip the stage along with special guests Beejus, hosted by Leon DNas Sykes, music by Dj Slowpoke.

YOUNG GULLY
You wanna know the definition of gas? Look no farther than East Oakland emcee Young Gully. Combining high octane lyricism with a wisdom acquired from years in the streets, Gully has built a reputation for “gassing” (Oakland slang for going hard) on every beat he touches. “Rappers have the voice of Oakland,” says Gully – but unlike most Oakland rappers, he wants to use his voice to inspire the community, rather than perpetrate the same cycle of violence and drug abuse. “Oakland is a good city and it’s not just what’s on the news. But you can’t avoid the violence either.”

BEEJUS
Beejus is a FreeSpirit’ed musician and the captain of his creative ship, controlling every intricate part to keep things moving.
“I’ll never box myself in.” A motto that fuels his “method to the madness” but all over the place style of being. His music is deep enough for seasoned music heads to appreciate, while fun enough that the party goers will sing along and dance as well. While always speaking on positivity and self betterment, his West Oakland California upbringing adds a very real element that makes his music and persona so relatable, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he comes across.
