She Wants Revenge will play the band’s second LP “This is Forever” in its entirety

Justin Warfield and Adam “Adam 12” Bravin formed the moody, Joy Division-inspired She Wants Revenge in 2003. The group’s debut album “She Wants Revenge” was released in early 2006, with three singles to follow (“These Things”, a video featuring Shirley Manson from Garbage, “Out of Control”, and “Tear You Apart” for which the video was directed by Joaquin Phoenix). The band’s second album, This Is Forever, was released in 2007. It continues where their self-titled debut left off, a figurative morning after to the dance of the night before. Still continuing on the same path of creating thought provoking and emotional dance music, the album deals in the familiar themes of love, loss, and betrayal, yet somehow even darker in tone, with beats that bang even harder, and if it’s possible, even catchier songs…

In an effort to escape the monotony of electro pop, Stefan Pruett began his solo project, The Guidance. As The Guidance, Stefan wants to craft a reflective approach to making electronic music that he has termed Future Grunge. This aural concoction is the convergence of electronic synth sounds, driving beats, and dance elements representing the aesthetic and energy of ’90s grunge, but all sequenced digitally instead of live instrumentation.

The Ink Bats (featuring live visuals by Unseelie and Misfailed): post-punk/psych/goth-influenced band based in Oakland. Stereo Embers Magazine named them one of “The Fifteenth NEXT Twenty Current Post-Punk Bands You Should Know About” http://stereoembersmagazine.com/the-fifteenth-next-twenty…/…
