Event Description:
The Town Experience is taking place November 6-10 2019 in historic Downtown Oakland as a complement to the annual Afrotech conference (expected to attract 6,000 – 10,000 attendees).
We are identifying businesses that share our goal of putting Oakland’s best foot forward for the influx of visitors during The Town Experience weekend. Like-minded businesses that desire to see a more vibrant city interested in partnering with us in The Town Experience marketing campaign, a multimedia guide to Oakland that is being created by local taste-makers working with the city of Oakland and tourism departments. Participating in The Town Experience is an opportunity for local businesses to increase sales by drawing conference-goers and tourists to their locations.
