The Carrots are a San Francisco based duo that plays a unique blend of jazzy, surfy, groove-oriented music….all instrumental. The group consists of Campbell on electric guitar and Garrett on the electric octave mandolin.

Film ~ The Endless Summer
1964. “Its title comes from the idea, expressed at both the beginning and end of the film, that if one had enough time and money it would be possible to follow the summer up and down the world making it endless.”
Filmmaker/narrator Bruce Brown follows two surfers, Mike Hynson and Robert August, on a surfing trip around the world.

For folks from SF who haven’t been to the Uptown, it is the easiest travel you can possibly imagine. Just get off the Bart at 19th St. Walk half a block and you are there.
There is even a very good taco place on the way. Oakland is awesome and so is the Uptown.
