We are very excited to announce monthly Queer Sessions; a night of singer/songwriters and performers. In the gorgeous bar of the newly opened Uptown will be delights of innumerable kinds, much pride and Taropy too with Miss Ginger. Enjoy a cool drink and wild expressions. No Cover. Performances between 8 and 10pm.
Irene Tue: A San Francisco based stand-up comedian, writer, and actor. A regular at the Punch Line, she was named one of the “Bay Area’s 11 Best Stand Up Comedians†in 2016 by the SFist and has been featured in numerous comedy festivals including SF Sketchfest, Limestone Comedy Festival, and Crom Comedy Festival. Irene hosts several popular shows in the Bay Area including Laugh Function, Man Haters, and Hysteria. She is also a co-producer of The Mission Position in San Francisco. Kress Cole: an Oakland based queer femme songstress. Songs from her in-progress album and from next project “FemmeVisible” have won “Best Song” 17 times through WestCoast Songwriter Competitions in different Bay Area cities.
