The Uptown is temporarily closed due to the COVID-19 crisis

On March 15, California Governor Gavin Newsom requested all California bars, music venues, and nightclubs close immediately and indefinitely to help curb the rampant spread of COVID-19. California is taking these dramatic steps to slow the rate of infection and reduce the number of deaths by giving doctors and hospitals a chance to treat the most serious patients without becoming overwhelmed by a tsunami of patients at once. Like you, we are saddened by the events surrounding us at the moment, but this apparent setback will help benefit the safety and health of our community at large. Thank you for your continued patience and support. We look forward to reopening when the time is right. Until then please shelter at home, practice social distancing, and wash those hands! Please visit our GOFUNDME if you're able to help in any way.
