Two Piece Tuesdays is proud to present the sweet jazz expressions of 2 Rocks From the Sun. We will also be showing Jean Cocteau’s Beauty and the Beast. Music starts at 7pm.
Music ~ 2 Rocks From the Sun. Featuring J-Rock (Justin Rock) on guitar and J-Rocc (Jenelle Roccaforte) on bass. 2 Rocks From the Sun features Bay Area guitarist Justin Rock AKA J-Rock and Miss Jenelle Roccaforte AKA J-Rocc on upright bass. They transverse through the musical universe of jazz while also exploring elements of soul, blues, rock, and improvisations. As a duo they have open space to play off each other and aim to have a unique experience each time they perform.
Beauty and the Beast
Jean Cocteau’s 1947 sublime adaptation of Mme. Leprince de Beaumont’s fairy-tale masterpiece—in which the pure love of a beautiful girl melts the heart of a feral but gentle beast—is a landmark of motion picture fantasy, with unforgettably romantic performances by Jean Marais and Josette Day. The spectacular visions of enchantment, desire, and death in Beauty and the Beast (La Belle et la Bête) have become timeless icons of cinematic wonder.
