On the first Friday of every month, The Uptown presents a FREE live music showcase that celebrates Bay Area artist and musicians. This 10-year-old event highlights Bay Area bands who we believe deserve your attention. January's showcase brings you garage rockers Dirty Denim, darkwave band Esses, post-punk group Composite, & rock 'n' roll outfit Sweetwater Black.
