Louda’s signature sound is one that fuses pop, hip-hop and dreamy 90's R&B melodies, the r&b, neo-soul, and jazz musical gumbo punctuated by horns, harmonies of Motus, and Ms Jamie Zee performs an array of compositions and arrangements of originals as well as the classics of funk, soul, jazz, reggae, and Afro-Cuban jazz.
Surplus 1980 is a Bay Area post-punk band founded in 2009 by former Sleepytime Gorilla Museum multi-instrumentalist Moe Staiano, who will be conducting everyone including Dutch vocalist G.W. Sok of The Ex. Oakland post-punk / dark wave bands Esses and Hazel Atlas are also on the bill.
